One driver used for all wide format 38 Series printers: - paper widths 61/2 up to 81/2 inches (165mm to 216mm) - Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7. CUPS drivers for FGL-based printers. This project provides CUPS drivers for ticket printers that work with the 'Friendly Ghost Language' FGL. Theoretically, this should be basically all ticket printers from BOCA, Practical Automation, and others, although we obviously did not test all of them. Datamax: Though we are no longer selling these printers, this information is for those who already own one.

  • Datamax 4205 Mark III with a printer driver downloaded from Seagull Scientific Note: these were very good printers until Windows 7. We found the driver for this printer and Version of Windows would print text 1.5″ past the leading edge of the tickets.

Zebra:

  • Zebra 2824 or 2844 Note: these are great printers, however if anything goes wrong with them, Zebra Technologies no longer supports them. The ZD 410 has replaced the LP 2800 series.
